Theresa Plummer Administration & Claims Assistant

I joined Real Ideas in July 2021, as a Customer Experience Host, prior to the launch and opening of the Market Hall. My tasks as a Host comprised of Dome bookings, Dome screenings, tours of the building for new visitors, preparing and serving refreshments and food to members, staff, customers and visitors. I am really excited to learn more about Real Ideas in my new role as an Administrator and Claims Assistant, adding to and applying my previous administration skills and knowledge.

I previously worked as a Legal Secretary and then an Administrator at the University of Plymouth, for a period of 20 years in both job roles. I was sadly made redundant during Covid lockdown.

One of my highlights as a Host, is the “wow” reaction of new visitors to the Market Hall, when I have taken them on a tour of the building and when they see the old part of the building and in particular the original staircase.

I enjoy gardening, cooking/baking, crochet and spending time playing with my two cats.
