For 2 performances only, we are welcoming internationally-renowned creator, Joshua Sam Miller, to the Market Hall dome to perform Sounds of the Ocean – live! Combining incredible 360-degree visuals with live music featuring Tibetan sound bowls, clarinet, saxophone and more. 'Sounds of the Ocean' is an invitation to go within yourself and to connect deeply with ocean life. in this new immersive 360-degree production, Joshua Sam Miller combines the sounds of whales and dolphins, original music, immersive visual art and award-winning ocean imagery to guide you on a mindful underwater journey.

You'll be guided to a depth of 3000 feet beneath the ocean's surface listening to recordings of ocean life from the deep waters of Monterey Bay Canyon, off the shores of Northern California. The sounds will be accompanied by beautiful live instruments including clarinet, hand pan, saxophone, piano crystal & Tibetan bowls, and ambient percussion to guide you through a relaxing musical journey. The experience integrates high-resolution footage of whales and dolphins, and original visual art to fully transport you to the underwater world and welcome you back on land.

Originally a touring musical project, Sounds of the Ocean blends many world lineages of sound as a mindfulness practice. Rooted in the practice of Nada Yoga, the ambient soundscape offers a space for deep listening, calm and relaxation. Premiering at the United Nations Ocean Conference and Burning Man, this new format connects audiences to create a positive social impact on our global community and support the healing of our oceans.
