Taught session with Beth Munro in the Print and Press room at Ocean Studios.Either bring a project you want help with

OR learn something completely different. Beth will be able to help problem solve, guide you through a process and share print making advice and top tips. The workshops specifically are for the printing processes:- Linocut – Mono printing- Collagraphy- Dry Point
Cost: £45.00 per person, per session
Basic Materials included.We use Caligo Safe Wash Printing Inks and the Studio is a toxic free environment.No experience necessary

Age group 12 – 99.Please bring your ideas, unfinished projects and something to take your work home in.This workshop is part of Print in Action.

What is Print in Action?

Print in Action brings printmakers from Plymouth and beyond together, revealing incredible talent, and celebrating print in its inspiring forms. Led by the community of printmakers at Ocean Studios and starting in April 2022.

Print in Action is a six-month programme of workshops, masterclasses, talks and discussions, culminating in a three-day festival from 21st – 23rd October 2022. For more information CLICK HERE.

Travel Information

We are an environmentally conscious organisation and encourage our visitors to prioritise green travel. Please consider getting the bus, cycling or walking to visit us. If you do need to drive to attend your event then there are lots of pay and display spaces available.

When arriving at Royal William Yard you’ll need to look out for signage to Factory Cooperage, Ocean Studios can be found just a few meters away from the red telephone box situated opposite the Club House. Please enter the building via the courtyard space and through the glass doors.

When leaving the building at night please be respectful and consider residents living nearby.

Accessibility

Ocean Studios has an accessible entrance however some areas are uneven due to heritage restrictions. We have worked hard to create an accessible building, Ocean Studios has accessible toilet facilities and lift access to upper floors. Blue badge parking is available throughout the Royal William Yard – please advise us of any additional needs so we can make your visit enjoyable and comfortable.

Heritage Restrictions
Whilst we work to ensure the building is fully accessible to all, we are limited by the heritage building and land in which we work. The listed building and historic location have certain constraints which unfortunately we cannot avoid or adapt.

Where possible we have improved accessibility however please be aware that areas of Royal William Yard and our buildings has uneven ground and narrow steps with may limit access to wheelchairs and prams.
